Hello, There are probably a ton of posts on this. I'm just looking for the cheapest and most efficient way to get Bitcoin into GBP or EUR. I've used Localbitcoins in the past, but I don't feel this is the cheapest option. Thanks :)
I usie-wusied my vidya machine to mine for Bitcoin, but everytime I eat the tendies I get off the deep web I violently pass out and end up in a hospital with an IV drip. And theres no tendies in the hospital. How do they expect me to saturate my big boy curves without tendies? Ever since mommy chokie-wokied on my butt tendies and went for a long sleep, I have to give Uncle Robert a blowey joey for him to convert my Bitcoin to GBP. Is there any way to resolve this issue? I hate the taste of Uncle Robert's sticky milk.
One-off small(ish) bitcoin to GBP options? And upgrading ancient bitcoin software
Back in 2011, I dabbled in bitcoin mining for a few of months. As part mining pools, I mined a total of ~1.59 bitcoins. Since then I've done nothing - but it'd be good to convert this to real cash. The coins are in a wallet currently accessable through an ancient 0.3.24-beta client - first step would be to upgrade to a current client. Any issues I should know about? Any advice on a good place to sell the coins? I did look into this a little while ago, but the places I found were aimed at sellers expected to have regular transactions rather than a single sale. Looking for safe reliable sale rather than the very best price.
I have managed to get some Bitcoins into Coinbase but now I need to get them out to either my UK bank account or to my PayPal. Coinbase only deal with US bank accounts, so no joy there... Can anyone here help and advise me the best way to get it back to the UK without too much hassle?
Hello I will cut to the chase, I have a large amount of money (deposit on a house) in cryptocurrency that I have held for a very long time 2017 or thereabouts , as we know the value of bitcoin has gone up a lot and that’s how I now have a large amount of money, my problem is I want to use this for a deposit on a house (I can cash the bitcoin to gbp via a registered company) , would the bank ask questions about this and maybe refuse my application or am I good?
Total n00b here who just downloaded the app with ZERO knowledge and experience. I started off with £10k practise money on Friday and this morning it’s worth £15.8k investing in US/GBP and Bitcoin. Is this normal? Seems too good to be true?
Most efficient way to cash out to GBP bank account?
I understand I can go from Nicehash>coinbase for free however the CB fee to cash out from bitcoin to GBP is quite high. I've heard there are ways involving gdax to cash out to a GBP bank account without fees. Can anyone help please? Thanks, Dan.
So I would like some opinions on this. I am not looking to do anything illegal but have a good amount of bitcoin i will one day cash out and have a strategy that could be tax efficient. Understand that capital gains tax needs to be paid on earnings/profit from bitcoin however if you buy something with bitcoin it is my understanding that no CGT has to be paid. Bitgled.com is a website that can be used to buy gold with bitcoin. My plan is to buy physical gold with bitcoin and then in 6 months or a year sell that cold for GBP. Does anyone know if any of these transactions are taxable? It seems to me a way to turn bitcoin to GBP without the need to pay tax. Am I missing something? My assumption is that the gold price will remain relatively stable and so profits between buying and selling the gold should be minimal if any. Thoughts?
